Temis Law is now AltaMare
A new name, the same commitment — introducing AltaMare
Looking back, I often reflect on how different things were when Temis Law first took shape. What began in 2020 as a practical response to a specific need, providing legal and tax assistance to international clients with interests in Spain and working primarily on a remote basis, gradually became something more defined, shaped by experience, client relationships, and the work itself.
Over the following years, the practice developed steadily. The team grew, the range of services expanded, and the remote model that had initially been a necessity proved to be an effective and lasting way of working, allowing for flexibility and close communication regardless of location. As client needs evolved, so did we.
After six years, it became clear that the firm's name and structure no longer fully reflected what we had become. Rebranding as AltaMare felt like the natural next step, not a departure from what came before, but a more honest expression of where we are today. The team has grown into a diverse group of professionals with different backgrounds and areas of specialisation, and this new identity reflects that more accurately.
What has not changed is the commitment that has guided us from the beginning: to provide clear, accessible and dependable legal and tax advice to clients based outside Spain. That remains the foundation of everything we do.
We are truly grateful for the trust our clients have placed in us over these years. We hope you enjoy this new chapter, and we look forward to continuing to walk alongside you in your projects and matters in Spain.
